Porcellio scaber Koi"! They're like the coolest scaber morphs ever. Picture this: they're white with these cool dark streaks and spots all over, ranging from totally white to completely black. Some may even have rusty orange markings. These bad boys are native to Europe.

Now, let's talk about their grub. We feed our isopods with some fancy stuff called Iso-licious Isopod Food, like 1-2 times a week. But wait, that's not all - we also spoil them with potatoes, squash, carrots, our special leaf powder, and even a cuttlebone.

These little fellas love it cozy, with warm temps and a bit of mist here and there. But they're not too keen on living in a super wet environment, so we've set up their home just right. We've made sure there's a moisture gradient for them to explore. One side of their enclosure is all moist and covered with NZ sphagnum moss, while the middle part stays mostly dry with some leaf litter and bark. And guess what? The other side is bone dry, with just some leaf litter to chill on. This setup lets these isopods do their thing and stay in perfect balance, keeping their osmoregulation on point.

These little guys are a bit like desert dwellers - semi-arid species, you know? So, we make sure they've got proper ventilation to stay super healthy and happy. All in all, they're the coolest isopods you'll ever meet!"

Starter culture

All Cultures are started with 10-15 isopods of mixed life stages. ( May be mostly babies)
