Cubaris murina Isopods in Canada

These isopods establish moderately quickly in vivariums, acting as janitors to maintain cleanliness while providing a natural calcium boost as a snack. Adorned with adorable orangish butts, they are native to North America and boast a hard, calcified body.
As moderately sized adults, they thrive in warm temperatures and occasional misting, adapting well to a damp environment. Our enclosures allow for a moderate moisture gradient, featuring wet NZ sphagnum moss on one side, a moist area mostly covered with leaf litter and bark in the middle, and a mostly dry section covered only with leaf litter on the opposite side.

Starter culture
All Cultures are started with 10-15 isopods of mixed life stages. ( May be mostly babies)
