A thickly succulent plant with silvery leaves and large spines along the margins. The margins are scalloped in a decorative way and will develop ‘blood spots’ or red banding on the spines in cooler weather and bright light. Our plants came originally from the vicinity of Dominguillo, Oaxaca many years ago. A beautiful species that reaches well over 18 inches across in very stiff leaved rosettes.
